Rules And Regulations

Following Rules should be observed which is compulsory for all the students and any deviation from this lead to disciplinary action -

  • Uniform is compulsory during school hour and for all the school function including all the events where students are representing the school outside. I-Card must be worn all the time.
  • Excluding the day of Art and Craft (SUPW), Students are not allowed to bring any sharp instruments such as blade, scissors, paper cutter, knives etc. to school.
  • Students are prohibited to bring any storage device like CD, Pen drive, I-pod etc. Bringing mobile phones, cameras, expensive items is strictly forbidden. Heavy charge will be fined on those found in possession.
  • Students (senior students) are not allowed to come to school on motor bike. Permission should be taken from school authority to come to school by scooty / Motorbike.
  • All the students from Nursery to VIll are suppose to bring their own lunch and water bottle. However school provides canteen facility but snacks can't substitute for healthy nutritious home made lunch.
  • Students are not allowed to celebrate their birthdays. No edibles are allowed in the school premises on such occasions however they can distribute toffees / chocolates to their classmates.
  • Damaging the school property lead to suspension or levy heavy fine. Using foul language or bullying are also punishable offence.
  • Students from class V onwards are permitted to wear watches.
  • Girls with long hair must plait their hair. Colouring or bleaching of hair is not permitted. Girls are also not allowed to apply Henna or nail paint on their hands.
  • Boarders suffering from chronic diseases will be asked to leave the hostels.
  • Students are supposed to pay compart fee for Annual Exam. if they do not clear their paper(s).
  • Students participating in Intramural Tournament / Annual Function will have to pay according to their participation.
  • Every student has to attend class regularly and punctually. Late comers shall not be allowed to attend class except in justified cases.
  • A student absent on a certain day in the school, shall have to submit an application for leave (written by guardians) on the following day.
  • Unless extremely necessary, leave shall not be granted.
  • Name of the student continuously absent for 15 days (without) prior permission shall be re-entered only on payment of Rs. 300/ -as Re-admission fee with all other dues.
  • At least 80% attendance shall be required by day scholars and 95% attendance by boarders to be eligible to appear in any examination.
  • Boarders shall not be allowed to have leave to be prefixed or suffixed with any break, except in serious exigencies.
  • Students who have been sick should bring an application addressed to the Principal along with a medical certificate from their doctor on joining the school.
  • Parents should fill up the 'Record for Non-Attendance' for each day the student is absent from school stating the reasons for absence. On test days a separate application has to be sent.
  • Leave can be granted on special grounds.
  • A student, returning to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease, should produce a doctor's certificate permitting him to do so.
  • All students are expected to attend school on the opening day after each of the vacations. Those absent without leave will be fined at the rate of Rs. 5/- per day. Those absent because of sickness must present a medical certificate before they may be admitted to the class.
  • Absence for more than six days immediately after a vacation renders the student liable to get the name struck off the rolls. It is compulsory for the students to complete 80% of their attendance in the year to make them eligible to sit for their final examinations.
  • However 95% attendance shall be required by the boarder. Percentage, however, could be relaxed on medical grounds. During the week immediately before the Terminals Exam, any student who absents himself from school without intimation will be fined Rs. 10/- per day.

Payment of dues in school :

  • All dues for a month must be paid latest by the 10th of each month. If the 10th of the month is a holiday then the payment is to be made on the previous working day.
  • Name of the student who does not pay dues of two months by the 25th of the 2nd month shall be struck off the roll. Re-admission may be given on payment of Rs. 400/- + late payment. A fine of Rs. 2/- per day will be charged till the 25th of the 2nd month.
  • Any student who does not clear the dues up to the required date shall not be allowed to appear in the ensuing examination.
  • Request for waiver of readmission or late fine will not be entertained.
  • One clear calender month's notice in writing or one month's fees in lieu of such notice must be given before a pupil can be withdrawn.
  • Those who leave the school in May must in all cases pay the fees for the month of June.
  • A student opting to take transfer certificate at the end of the session must apply by the first week of March.
  • Transfer certificates are not issued until all dues of the school are settled.
  • Students can be asked to leave the school on disciplinary grounds.
  • A student who fails twice in the school in the same class will not be permitted to continue his / her studies in the school especially if he she is below average in that class.
  • Parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities by enforcing regularity, cleanliness and a sense of discipline in the children.
  • Parents are to take care that children do their home work and come well prepared to school on time.
  • Parents are requested to see their wards carry books/exercise books according to the time-table. No extra books are allowed.
  • The school authorities will be happy if any negligence in assigning or correcting homework is brought to their notice by parents.
  • Parents are requested to meet the class teacher with prior intimation with regard to their child's progress in studies. (only after school hours)
  • The school diary is a compulsory information book for each pupil which serves as a source of information about the activities of the school. Parents/Guardians are requested to look into the reports given by the Principal and teachers and sign them. All complaints should be made to the Principal.
  • Parents/Guardians and visitors are forbidden to visit the classes and talk to the teachers or students during class hours without the written permission of the Principal.
  • Accepting the above suggestions in practice will ensure in securing best education of your child.
  • Parents are requested to keep a balance between responsibility, forgiveness and love for children.
  • Since the medium of instruction is English, see that your ward speaks in English as far as practicable.
  • Undue request for promotion or unnecessary pressure on the Management Representative is duly not expected from the parents/guardians.
  • Parents are requested to think Seriously about the gradual growth in absenteeism and co-operation in school activities viz.
    • Absenteeism
    • Late coming to school
    • Non-Attendance at PTM
